Alternative titleBrisbane College of Advanced Education, Mount Gravatt Teachers CollegeDescriptionTeaching commenced at the Mount Gravatt Teachers College (now our Mount Gravatt campus) in February of 1969, commencing with 469 students. Along with a number of other tertiary institutions, Mount Gravatt Teachers College became part of Griffith University as part of Australian tertiary institution reforms that began in the late 1980's. Mount Gravatt Teachers College went through a number of organisation changes which saw it become part of the Brisbane College of Advanced Education system in 1982.
